In-silico modeling of balloon- expandable TAVI device

4RealSim is working together with Università degli Studi di Palermo to develop a computer model of a Sapien 3 Commander Balloon system, capable to predict realistically the folding and inflation process (as shown in the video).

4RealSim and Università degli Studi di Palermo are both members of the SimInSitu - In-silico Development- and Clinical-Trial-Platform consortium, an EU funded research project (Project ID 101017523) to accelerate the uptake of computer simulations for testing medicines and medical devices.
